Day Trips and Visits

Your course includes 3 trips or activities per week. For a teenage student this might be a boat trip in Bristol, and an activity like badminton or swimming, or a visit to the cinema, and a day trip to somewhere outside Bristol. Adults have the additional choice of live music or comedy nights in our city pubs.

Exploring the region: We have 2 World heritage sites in the region; the city of Bath, famous for its Roman Baths and Georgian architecture, and Stone Henge, the enormous prehistoric stone circle. The Morgan car factory in Malvern offers tours of its production line where you can see these exclusive cars being built by hand; an interesting trip for boys of all ages! The beautiful hills of Wales are not far away, and offer fantastic walking, if the weather is good. Some students enjoy walking by the sea, or exploring our lesser known prehistoric stone circles.

Bristol has so much to offer! From charming Georgian architecture, to world famous graffiti, wonderful English pubs and enormous parks. The Bristol Docks, no longer used for shipping, have become a fascinating leisure area in the heart of the city. We have five museums and numerous art galleries, art house cinemas and several theatres. For the adventurous, there are a multitude of possibilities, from Shakespeare plays to dance classes. For over-18s there is a wide choice of music in our city pubs. No two courses are the same. The choice of trips and activities depends on your interests, what’s happening in Bristol and Bath at the time, and of course the weather.
